Will perform at the Massena Springs Park sponsored by the Greater Massena Chamber of Commerce and North Country Savings Bank.

The Winter Carnival Committee will be sponsoring a FREE Ice cream social.  All Ice cream is free but donations for the Winter Carnival 2011 will be appreciated.

Come on down to the Massena Springs Park and enjoy some local talent and free ice cream!

The Parishville Fireman’s ladies Auxiliary will be holding an Italian dinner tonight at the fire hall from 4-6:30. Cost is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and children, under 5 are free

 

NYPA Authority Romantic Comedies at 1:30pm at Hawkins Point

The Public Health Department offers HIV testing and Counseling Services as well as a STD Clinic in Canton, Massena, Gouverneur and Ogdensburg. Appointments are required and a $5.00 donation is appreciated. Please call 1-800-561-6057 for more information on dates and locations.

The St. Lawrence Co. Council of Seniors holds their monthly meetings at the Potsdam American Legion hall on Route 345 the second Thursday of the month at 10am.

Woman of the Moose lodge #729 are having their meetings again @ the lodge on Ames St. in Massena, the 2 and 4th Tuesdays of the month. New members are welcome

 The Massena Triad Council meets the first Thursday of the month in the community center at 1:30pm.

The Massena Cottonwood Cloggers are still accepting new people for it’s beginning lessons. They meet every Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 in the basement of the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. If you have any questions, or want to find out more about the Cottonwood Cloggers please come and join or call 250-8907. All ages are welcome!  

The Canton Recreation Department announces that Taylor Park Community Beach will be open daily from 11:30am-7:30pm June 14th through August 22nd.

The New York Power Authority's Frank S. McCullough, Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The visitors center offers many exciting hands-on exhibits on energy, electricity, history and the environment.  The visitors center will again host its "Beat the Heat" summer campaign with a full day of  free movies every Tuesday from June 29 through August. 31. Family-friendly films will be shown at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the visitors center's auditorium. In addition, throughout the year, NYPA offers Friday matinees at 1:30 p.m. featuring contemporary and classic films.  These events are free of charge and open to the public.
