Parents Who Beat Coronavirus Finally Hold Twins Three Weeks After Birth

For three weeks, a mom and dad in Michigan were only able to see their newborn twins through video chat because they had coronavirus. Jennifer and Andre Laubach both tested positive just as her water broke and the baby boys were taken away immediately after they were born. Mom was put in quarantine and was worried she’d passed it on to the infants.

Thankfully, the boys, who were born at 32 weeks, didn’t have it. And after 20 long days, the parents have recovered and tested negative for coronavirus. They finally got to hold their sons, Mitchell and Maksim for the first time, which Jennifer says was “very emotional.”
