Dads Adopt Six Siblings Who Spent Five Years In Foster Care

A Pennsylvania couple have become the proud parents of six brothers and sisters who spent nearly five years in the foster care system. Steve Anderson-McLane and Rob Anderson-McLane wanted to adopt siblings so they could stay together. The dads met Carlos, 14, Guadalupe, 13, Maria, 12, Selena, 10, Nasa, nine, and Max, seven, and the kids moved in with them a month later and they’ve all been together ever since.

After spending 1,640 days in foster care, the dads officially adopted the brothers and sisters on May 23rd and now they’re a big happy family of eight. “There are no rules as to what can constitute a family, and the love that we share,” Rob says.
