Natalie Desselle-Reid Loses Battle With Colon Cancer

Natalie Desselle-Reid has died. The 53-year-old succumbed to a private battle with colon cancer. According to a family source, she was diagnosed earlier this year and was in hospice care surrounded by her family when she passed yesterday morning.

Natalie was veteran comic actress whose credits included “Madea’s Big Happy Family,” “How to be a Player,” “Set it Off,” and “Divas.” But she was best known for starring in “B.A.P.S.” with Halle Berry. As for TV, she starred on “Eve” for three years. She also appeared on “For Your Love,” “Built to Last,” and the made-for-TV movie, “Cinderella,” with Brandy and Whitney Houston.

In addition a husband, Leonard, and three children – SerenoSummer, and Sasha – she also leaves a host of friends and fans. Here’s a look at her social media condolences…
