Leonardo DiCaprio might have just been another table-waiting actor had it not been for Sharon Stone. She shares the story of how he got his breakout role in “The Quick and the Dead” in her new memoir, “The Beauty of Living Twice.”
Leo was one of a few teen actors who auditioned for the role in the 1995 western but he was the only one who nailed it. Sharon – who was a co-producer – really wanted to cast him. However, the studio wasn’t on-board because he was just starting out. “The studio said if I wanted him so much, I could pay him out of my own salary,” she shared. “So I did.”
And the rest is history. “The Beauty of Living Twice” is available now.
