The Best Fall Drinks At Coffee Chains That Aren’t Pumpkin Spice Lattes

Pumpkin Spice Lattes were introduced to the public by Starbucks in 2003, but these aren’t the only fall drinks that you may want to try at some of the more popular coffee chains. Here are a few to consider if you want to shake things up a bit.

  • Dunkin’ Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew – has a whipped-cream-like foam and lots of pumpkin flavor but contains 13 more grams of sugar than the competition with 43 grams total, just so you know.
  • Caribou Coffee Bousted Apple Blast – this is like liquid caramel over ice, tasting a little like apple cider but adds ginseng and guarana. Caribou also offers Pumpkin White Mocha and Pumpkin Iced Crafted press if you want to go with the pumpkin theme.
  • Dutch Bros Cinnamon Swirl Oak Milk Latte – this drink is similar to cereal milk combined with Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavors, but they also offer Iced Snickerdoodle Breve, Pumpkin Pie Dutch Frost and Pumpkin Chai for alternatives.
  • Starbucks Apple Crisp Macchiato – a combination of espresso, brown sugar and caramelized apples with a great aroma. Order it iced and you can always get the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which actually outsold Starbucks PSL in 2020.
  • Peet’s Horchata Cold Brew Oat Latte – you can order this one hot or iced and has cinnamon sugar flavors along with espresso. They also offer Pumpkin Oat Foam Cold Brew and Iced Maple Latte for variations.
  • The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Cookie Butter Latte – this drink combines brown sugar cookie and chocolate flavors from the espresso. They also have a Pumpkin Iced Blended beverage, which is their version of the Frappuccino and a Pumpkin Cold Brew.

You have tons of choices of fall beverages from all of these chains and you don’t have to go the PSL route to get a satisfying fall drink.
