You first heard Ryan Leroux as the original Play by Play Announcer of SUNY Potsdam Sports on Mix 96.1, now he brings you the Traffic Jam weekdays from 3-7pm AND the heaviest hitting rock Saturday at 1AM during “In the Moshpit”! Ryan’s career in radio has gone through many twists and turns and taken on many different forms.

He began his career in 2009 working in country genre and then moved to classic rock in 2012 and also included his own self-created, produced, and co-hosted heavy metal show on Mix’ sister station 101.5 The Fox. Ryan is a huge fan of music which is why he loves working in radio as it helps him learn and become familiar with all the different sounds and artists that are out there. His education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Industry from SUNY Oneonta.

In his free time Ryan loves spending time with his son and being engrossed in one of his many interests including movies, history, comic books, pro wrestling, video games, and being a die hard fan of the Cleveland Indians, Seattle Seahawks, and New York Islanders.
